Certified CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

I come from the U.S. and have a background in artistic gymnastics. In 2002 I was the high school gymnastics American National Champion in the floor exercise and vault. I received a full-ride athletics scholarship to the University of Missouri where I was a regular competitor on the uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise. After my career as a gymnast, I went on to coach club gymnastics and continue to do so today at Arendal Turn.I was introduced to CrossFit in 2012 by Caroline Fryklund, (Sweden's best female CrossFitter). She took me into try it out and I've been hooked ever since.What I love about CrossFit is that it is constantly varied and measurable, which keeps me from getting bored with my training. This makes it much easier for me to stay motivated and to keep the intensity level high during my workouts. Crossfit has changed my life for the better.My strengths are bodyweight skills such as pull-ups, muscle ups, and handstand push-ups.My weakness would be the Olympic lifts and wall balls, but I'm working on them and they're coming along slowly but surely. :-)
